Subaru Loves to Help
We are honored and humbled to share that Subaru of New England has recognized McGovern Subaru of Acton with a Love Promise Award.
This recognition means so much to us, not just because of the award, but because of the incredible story behind it.
Earlier this year, one of our beloved team members, Pat Coyne, faced serious health challenges. As if that weren't enough, shortly after, Pat and his family experienced a devastating electrical fire in their home. In an actual act of compassion and leadership, Matt McGovern stepped in and generously donated $10,000 to help Pat and his family with medical expenses and rebuilding their lives.Thanks to Pat's strength and resilience, and the support of our Subaru family, we were able to share his story with Subaru of New England. Out of hundreds of submissions, our letter was one of just two selected for June, a testament to the power of community and care.
As part of the award, Subaru of New England donated $250 directly to Pat's family and allowed us to choose a charity for a $500 donation. We proudly chose Baypath Humane Society, our new Subaru Loves Pets partner.
We recently celebrated this moment with Katie from Baypath and her team, who joined us for a special visit. Subaru of New England also toured our soon-to-open facility, which will feature a pet spa where a dedicated technician will care for your furry friends while we care for your vehicle.
Being part of the Subaru family is about so much more than selling cars. It's about showing up for each other, building connections, and making a difference in the lives of our employees, customers, and communities.Thank you, Subaru of New England, for believing in our story and helping us share the love.
Subaru Loves the Earth
At Subaru, and those of us here at McGovern Subaru of Acton believe that the world we leave behind reflects who we are. Because of that, we are dedicated to protecting and preserving our planet for future generations.
As part of Subaru Loves the Earth this year, we teamed up with the Arbor Day Foundation to keep our communities green! Trees are vital-they provide oxygen, clean our air and water, cool our neighborhoods, and even improve our health. However, we lose 36 million trees annually due to age, disease, and extreme weather. That's why we took action!
With the help of the Arbor Day Foundation, we proudly gave away 100 free trees to residents of Acton, MA, and surrounding towns. Seeing the smiles on our customers' faces was a true reminder of how much we all care about the Earth.

Subaru Loves to Care
Every June, Subaru partners with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) to deliver warmth, love, and encouragement to those courageously battling cancer. Through this initiative, Subaru retailers nationwide donate comforting blankets and handwritten messages of hope to patients undergoing treatment.
This year, McGovern Subaru of Acton had the privilege of supporting our local community by partnering with Emerson Hospital in Concord, MA. We delivered a bundle of incredibly soft blankets and heartfelt messages to the dedicated team at the Mass General Cancer Center at Emerson Hospital, where patients receive expert, compassionate care close to home. Emerson's team treats a wide range of cancers and offers full-spectrum support, from advanced medical treatment to survivorship programs and rehabilitation.
We are honored to play even a small part in helping provide comfort and encouragement to those walking this difficult journey.

Subaru Loves Learning
Once again, it was our privilege to adopt six classrooms at C.A. Farley Elementary School in Hudson, MA. Each adopted class receives a $500 donation, giving teachers the freedom to upgrade their classrooms in ways that best support their students.
In the month leading up to our Subaru Loves Learning Event, McGovern Subaru of Acton also collects school supplies for C.A. Farley Elementary School. While many generous customers contribute, the majority of donations come from our dedicated employees, showing their belief, like ours, that every child deserves the chance to start the school year prepared for success.
It's easy to assume that every student begins the year with basics like crayons, pencils, notebooks, and folders, but sadly, that's not always the case. That's why we are proud to step in with unconditional support, helping to bridge that gap for local students and their teachers.
Over the years, the impact of these efforts has been deeply felt. We at McGovern Subaru of Acton are honored to continue our partnership with C.A. Farley Elementary. We can't wait to see how these donations help inspire learning and success for years to come.
Subaru Loves Pets
Through the Love Promise and Subaru Loves Pets® initiative, McGovern Subaru of Acton has partnered with the Buddy Dog Humane Society to host adoption events to help local shelter pets find loving homes.
Historically, the McGovern Group has supported local animal shelters and provided resources to help these wonderful animals find their furever families. Our furry friends and family deserve our love and support. We're proud to continue this initiative during the annual Subaru Loves Pets month and beyond.
Subaru Share the Love
Giving Back: Supporting the Boys & Girls Club of Assabet Valley
What a beautiful way to start the day! At McGovern Subaru of Acton, we're incredibly honored to give back to our community. Thanks to the unwavering support of our dedicated staff and loyal customers, we recently had the privilege of delivering a $40,000 check to the Boys & Girls Club of Assabet Valley in Maynard, MA.
This donation was made possible through our annual Subaru Share the Love® Event. For every new Subaru purchased or leased, Subaru contributes $250 to a variety of charities. At McGovern Subaru, we go even further-adding $75 for every car sold or leased and $3 for every Subaru oil filter sold during oil changes.
The Boys & Girls Club of Assabet Valley has spent over 40 years providing a safe, enriching environment for local youth aged 5-18. As the only full-time youth service organization in their area, they welcome more than 700 children annually, regardless of financial means.
Although it costs about $800 to support one child for a year, families pay only $80-and no child is ever turned away. The Club's staff and volunteers work tirelessly to ensure every child has the opportunity to thrive.
We are humbled to support such a remarkable organization that's shaping brighter futures every single day.
